We are frequently asked by friends and neighbors, members of the media, and acquaintances, to explain the Community Foundation

So, how do we tell our story?  By telling stories.  Since 1994, the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry and all of its funds have awarded more than $28 million to nonprofits serving the Lowcountry and beyond.  We have worked with more than 200 individuals, families, groups, nonprofit organizations, and businesses to establish charitable funds. Over two-hundred funds, more than 2,000 donors, and more than $28 million in grants add up to a lot of stories.
