Three Directors Join Community Foundation of the Lowcountry Board of Directors

Community Foundation of the Lowcountry has announced the addition of three new members to its board of directors, effective July 1, 2019: Arno Dimmling, Linda Fiore and Paul Moeri.

Arno Dimmling is a retired executive in the ocean transportation industry, having worked for the world’s leading container shipping company for more than 35 years, and culminating as chief operating officer for a leading global port operating company. He relocated to Hilton Head Island in 2005 and has served as a board member for Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head, where he chaired their Pedal for Kids event. He has also served on the board of directors for Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, holding the board chair position for five years of his six-year term. Dimmling continues to consult with the shipping industry and is an active photographer, with work appearing in local publications.

Linda Fiore retired to the Lowcountry in 2015 after a 25+ year career with GE Capital, most recently as managing director, Access GE for GE Capital Americas. Her business experience includes business development, strategy, sales, marketing, operations and business transformation. Fiore has been actively involved in a variety of nonprofit, affinity and volunteer organizations including Make a Wish, Tommy Fund, GE Women’s Network, Robert and Ann Lurie Children’s Hospital, GE Developing Health Foundation, Midtown Education Foundation and One Goal Graduation. Locally, she is a board member with Memory Matters and is chair of World Affairs Council of Hilton Head’s Evening Speaker Series. Fiore earned a bachelor’s degree in education from State University of New York at Oneonta and a master’s degree in business administration from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn.

Paul Moeri’s accounting and finance career spans 36 years, with 29 of those in the international arena – in the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Africa and Latin America -- with ExxonMobil, Mobil, Tenneco and Halliburton. Moeri earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from University of Houston and an MBA from Loyola of New Orleans. Since retiring to Hilton Head Island in 2010, Moeri has served as co-captain of the Heritage golf tournament and on the board of Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, Long Cove Club POA, Long Cove Club Charity Funds and Volunteers in Medicine, where he is the treasurer.
