Grants Information Sessions

(Bring Your Own Lunch & Learn)

We invite you to bring your lunch to the Community Foundation and Learn about the Community Investment Office. This Grants Information Session provides an opportunity for organizations with programs in our service area to learn about the Community Foundation its grantmaking initiatives and the other programs that we offer. The sessions include a review of the eligibility requirements, funding priorities, as well as limitations and exclusions.

Attendance at a Grants Information Session (or BYO Lunch & Learn) is required within the 12 months prior to application and there are three grant request deadlines each year – January 15, May 15 and September 15. The grant application process typically takes several months, so we courage organizations to plan accordingly.

BRING YOUR OWN Lunch and Learn Workshops are most months at Community Foundation of the Lowcountry’s offices on Hilton Head Island.

You can register to attend in person and each organization may register up to two representatives. WHO SHOULD ATTEND: We encourage a representative of the organization's leadership, board members or executive director and the person responsible for writing the grant request to participate. Advance registration is required.

Please contact Debbie Cahoon if you have geographical limitations that prohibit in person attendance. We will work with you to schedule a video conference or conference call.
