Celebrating A Milestone
October 30, 2019This year marks the 25th year Community Foundation of the Lowcountry has been serving the Lowcountry by connecting people, resources and needs. What better way to celebrate than a Lowcountry tradition – an oyster roast?
On the evening of October 22, about 175 of our close friends – the folks who ’ve been with us since the beginning along with some more recent supporters – gathered at Coastal Discovery Museum ’s pavilion to enjoy local oysters and all the fixin ’s, along with a celebratory birthday cake.
A huge thanks to everyone who came out to help us mark this big occasion in our history. Here ’s to another 25!
We ’ve had three CEOs in our 25 year history and we were happy they could all attend. L-R: Chris Kerrigan (current president and CEO); Dianne (Garnett) Hopstetter (first president and CEO) and Denise Spencer.
Current board chair Jim Allhusen welcomes everyone to the festivities. | |
