The Ekedahls understood that nonprofits need more than funding for programs. They also need strong leaders, effective boards, skilled teams and sound organizational practices. Their investment created a dedicated resource through which Community Foundation of the Lowcountry can help nonprofits build the internal strength needed to advance their missions and serve the community well. 

The Ekedahl Center for Nonprofit Excellence builds on CFL’s commitment to nonprofits and organizations who provide programs and services to those most in need in our four-county service region.
