Established in 2006, the Public Art Fund brought art into the public realm by hosting a biennial exhibition, commissioning sculptures and working with donors to permanently install large scale sculptures on Hilton Head Island.

Our Contribution to Our Community

After hosting four public sculpture exhibitions, working with numerous donors and commissioning one bronze piece, our Public Art Fund secured 11 permanent pieces that can be found installed around Hilton Head Island.

In the spring of 2020, the Public Art Fund's efforts transitioned to the Town of Hilton Head's Office of Cultural Affairs. If you have questions about public art, the Office of Cultural Affiars can be reached at 843.341.4703.
