Overview

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Scholarship fund was created by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Nu Delta Omega Chapter in 2025. The mission of this scholarship fund is to provide a $1,000.00 scholarship to graduating senior females in the Beaufort and Jasper County public high schools.

Limited Criteria

• Applicant must be a female high school senior graduating from a public high school in Beaufort or Jasper County.
• Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic merit and leadership qualities.
• Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Applicants must provide proof of enrollment from a post-secondary institution verifying full-time status before the distribution of funds.
• Applicants must commit to attending the AKA Scholarship Lunch and Learn workshop on April 4, 2026.
