Overview

Beaufort Jasper Water and Sewer Authority (BJWSA) generously established the Beaufort Jasper Water and Sewer Authority Scholarship Program in 2024 to provide post-secondary educational support for students in Beaufort and Jasper Counties in South Carolina. 

Limited Criteria

• Applicants must be a high school senior graduating from a public, private or charter high school in Beaufort or Jasper Counties in South Carolina.
• Applicants plan to pursue a post-secondary degree in one of the following areas of study:  Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Finance and Accounting; Construction Management; Water Resources, Operations, and Management; Geographic Information Systems (GIS); and Information Technology (IT) or related courses of study.
• Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on the SCUGP scale.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Family financial information is required in addition to the FAFSA Summary Report.
