Overview

The Hannah B. Priester Scholarship is a Physically Challenged Scholarship. A graduating high school senior from Hampton County High School who meets the requirements listed below will be selected to receive a scholarship for $1,000.

Limited Criteria

• APPLICANT MUST HAVE OVERCOME A PHYSICAL CHALLENGE. In order to qualify for the Physically Challenged Scholarship, the applicant must have suffered an illness or injury that resulted in a physical impairment that substantially limits major life activities. A medical certificate from a license physician must be provided.
• Scholarship applicant must be a graduating high school senior from Hampton County High School in 2026, and must have attended North District Middle School (Hampton County) for at least two years.
• Applicant must complete the attached Hannah B. Priester Physically Challenged Scholarship Application form.
• Applicant must provide official high school transcript with an overall GPA of 2.25 or higher. Transcript must reflect grades after the 2nd nine weeks into the applicant senior year.
