Overview

The Delesky-Wetmore Scholarship was generously established in October 2025 by Cathy Delesky and Doug Wetmore. The purpose and focus of this scholarship fund is to provide scholarship support for qualified students with demonstrated financial need who are pursuing a 4-year post-secondary education at an accredited college or university.

Limited Criteria

• Applicant must be a high school senior graduating from a public or private high school in Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton or Colleton Counties in South Carolina. Students may also be a legal resident of Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton or Colleton Counties in South Carolina, graduating from the South Carolina Governor’s School of Science and Mathematics or a qualified home school program.
• Applicant plans to pursue a degree in a STEM related, finance or economics major.
• Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic accomplishments.
• Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Applicants must score above average on the ACT or SAT achievement test
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Family financial information is required in addition to the FAFSA Summary Report.
