Community Foundation of the Lowcountry Welcomes Four New Board of Directors Members

Kim Baretta, a Lowcountry resident for the past nine years, had an impressive marketing leadership career with Proctor & Gamble in Ohio before becoming an accomplished chef and caterer. Kim is active in numerous Lowcountry charitable organizations and previously served as the board president at Memory Matters.
Leslie Evans has extensive leadership experience with Fortune 500 companies and nonprofits identifying solutions to improve healthcare outcomes. In addition to her professional roles, Leslie is an active volunteer in the Lowcountry community and with her alma mater, Tulane University.
Charles Sampson, a Hilton Head Island resident since 1972, is a fixture in the community as a founding partner of Charter One Realty–North, established in 1994. Charles has extensive community involvement experience and has served on numerous local boards, including as board chair of Technical College of the Lowcountry Foundation.
H. Pearce Scott, a Lowcountry resident for over two decades, is Principal of the well-regarded Pearce Scott Architects in Bluffton, a high-end residential and commercial architecture firm. Pearce currently is active on several local boards.
The 2025-26 CFL board officers are Lynn Jennings Taylor (Chair), Tray Hunter (Vice-Chair), Doug Wetmore (Treasurer), and Yolanda Branche (Secretary). A sincere thanks to outgoing board members Arno Dimmling, Stephen Evans, John Levy, Judi Levy, and Paul Moeri. CFL appreciates the commitment and wisdom these members provided during their board service.
