Overview

The Chef Carl Ruiz Culinary Arts Education Scholarship, established in memory of Chef Carl Ruiz by his family and friends, provides scholarship awards to assist qualified students who are in pursuit of an apprenticeship, certification, or post-secondary education in the area of Culinary Arts through an accredited culinary or hospitality school program

Limited Criteria

  • Applicant must show evidence they have been accepted or are currently enrolled at Technical College of the Lowcountry (TCL), Bluffton, SC or Nicholls State University, Thibodaux, LA.
  • Applicant is pursuing a degree, certificate or taking courses in the Culinary Arts or Hospitality fields.

  • This scholarship does not require financial information. The award is based solely on meeting the specific criteria, in addition to merit.
