Overview

The Live Like D.J. – Dwon Fields Jr. Scholarship Fund was established in loving memory of Dwon Fields, Jr. by his family and friends in 2021. Annual scholarships are awarded to qualified students in pursuit of a post-secondary education who demonstrate the life qualities D.J. exemplified, by putting the needs of others first and making a difference in others lives through acts of kindness, compassion and caring.

Limited Criteria

• High school graduating senior, or one year past high school graduation, from a public or private high school (or home school) in the four-county region of Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper Counties
• Must be attending an accredited college, university, technical or trade school
• Must demonstrate evidence of making a difference in the lives of others through acts of kindness, compassion and caring
