Every year, the Heritage Classic Foundation awards scholarships to 11 high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, community service and leadership skills.

The Next Generation of Leaders

Since the program began in 1993, the Heritage Classic Foundation has distributed $5.2 million in scholarships to 375 students from Beaufort and Jasper Counties through four-year awards of $16,000-$20,000 and one-year grants of $4,000.

Who is eligible?

High School Seniors in Beaufort and Jasper Counties who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply:

What is the criteria?

  • 3.5 or greater unweighted GPA on the SC Uniform Grading Scale
  • legal U.S. citizen and legal resident of Beaufort or Jasper County
  • parents/guardians combined adjusted annual income must be less than $150,000
  • must enter college within one year after high school graduation

Your user name is your email address. Use a permanent email address. Correspondence may be sent to you via email to the address you have designated.

Once your account is created, your student dashboard will open. Click Apply in the top left of the screen, next to the home icon.

You will see the guidelines for the Heritage Classic Foundation Scholarship. Take a moment to read them and then click “Apply” at the top of that section. The application will open.
