Heritage Classic Foundation Establishes a Scholarship Endowment Fund at Community Foundation of the Lowcountry
September 26, 2023The Heritage Classic Foundation Scholarship Endowment Fund will ensure the Scholar Program’s growth and longevity. The Scholarship Fund’s purpose is to increase needs based scholarships available to local students and provide a simple way for donors to contribute.
“The Community Foundation of the Lowcountry is honored to partner with the Heritage Classic Foundation through this important fund,” said CFL President Scott Wierman. “The endowment provides a direct way for the community to support education and the outstanding students in Beaufort and Jasper Counties.”
The Heritage Classic Foundation is dedicated to hosting a world class PGA TOUR event and raising funds for educational and charitable initiatives. Since the Heritage Classic Foundation’s creation in 1987, $51 million has been distributed to those in need. The Scholar Program, created in 1993, has granted $5 million to 375 deserving Beaufort and Jasper County high school seniors.
