Past and potential workshop topics include succession planning, nonprofit financial reporting, logic models, disaster planning and preparedness, board development, board fundraising, leading nonprofit staff, communication to drive influence, volunteer management and introductory strategic planning. Recent offerings have combined practical instruction with tools participants can apply directly within their organizations.

Because the needs of our nonprofit community continue to change, we want our workshop calendar to reflect the subjects that are most useful and relevant to local organizations. Nonprofit staff, board members and volunteers are invited to complete our brief Professional Development Interest Survey and tell us which topics would be most valuable to them.

Survey responses will help us:

  • Identify the areas in which nonprofit professionals most want additional knowledge or support
  • Prioritize workshops with the greatest community interest
  • Develop new sessions in response to emerging needs
  • Schedule training at times and in formats that are most accessible to participants

Tell us what your organization needs. We will use your feedback to shape future workshops and bring relevant, practical learning opportunities to the Lowcountry nonprofit community.
